The complex
consists of 60 apartments over forty six hundred square feet of office and retail space.
The mixed-use apartments include rents affordable to people earning up to 50% of AMI (Area Median Income).
20% of residents
will have special needs and regional center will provide funding for needed supports, e.g., Independent or Supported Living
Services, Day program, transportation. Vendored service providers will be separate
from Key. Two bedroom apartments will be reserved for persons who need a live-in
attendant.
The office space
will be leased to non-profit agencies at below market rent. Office/retail space
can be customized for tenants identified pre-construction. These tenants will
be encouraged to provide employment opportunities to regional center consumers.
